"For me, the best part of field recording is the meditative aspect, which is simply being and seeing what is happening in here and now. In this attentive, open state the simplest situations, where seemingly nothing special happens, turn out to be extremely attractive and profound. Our broadly understood culture and current way of life cause that we tend to ignore subtle stimuli and what is happening in the background. We're focused on our goals, on completing tasks. We're busy with our thoughts - not seeing the richness and beauty of what surrounds us, the richness of the moment. The idea for a series of ambient albums orbiting around the topic popularly known as "mindfulness" was born out of my reflection upon this. This music is an inner trip inspired by being out in the city and nature."
